I have been returning to the same place in Maine for several years. A small 'Main Street USA' town two hours from the nearest big city.
The town of Bangor is situated a couple of miles from the coast in what is one of the largest lobster fishing areas of northern America.
They used to pull 13lb lobsters out of the water here years ago that could feed a whole family. Now by law they have to throw back anything smaller than 1.5lb.
The isolation and peace is undeniable.
