I often work on film, commercial and music video sets as a unit photographer.
A while ago director Chris Cunningham was shooting a new music video. I had heard a little about his working methods and knew that I wanted to create a body of work based on one of his shoots.
The treatment was pretty disturbing. A small child in her bedroom being deconstructed - skin, flesh, tendons and bone.
His precision bordered on obsession. He was timing some of his shots down to a single frame.
